I think I'm more interested in how so much has been devoted to the blurb conversation. Once again, I feel the publishing industry is navel gazing when it should be looking more at engaging readers.
I agree. Despite the wind around this thing, in my opinion, the simplistic breakdown of it is that blurbs will no longer be mandatory. It doesn’t mean they will be obliterated. It will be case by case and as you say, author’s decision. We shall see.
